The all-in-one digital school and learning management providing edtech company from Jordan ‘Edunation’ has managed to raise about $3M in a funding round. The round was led by Rubix, a US-based investor. Edunation has already partnered up with some of the most notable leading academic institutions in the MENA region. By partnering up with various institutions, the platform keeps providing a virtual learning experience with a fully operational campus experience for the students studying from Kindergarten to 12th grade and that’s not all. They also are providing university-level education with their EdTech platform for the most academic convenience.

The startup was founded back in 2013 by Firas Jabbour and Mahmud Gabareen. Their goal behind founding the startup was transforming the academic experience through online means and technology to be more immersive and helpful to the students as well. They’re up to dated learning environment links everything to the students including courses, exams, assessments, communication, planning and management, and finance. The platform does all that with the most efficiency on all sides and it even helps educational institutions and schools centralize their work and operations from their center base while getting help from the platform.

Their previously secured a funding round before this was back in 2019 and the first one was back in 2014 making the current one the third funding round. Both funding rounds were led by angel investor Abdul Malek al Jaber. And he will provide access to the startup to improve and innovate the presence of the platform in the existing market across Jordan, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. They also plan on expanding their reach in the Egypt, Oman, and Bahrain next time to enter these markets.

A statement by investment group Rubix announced, “We have been following Edunation for the last couple of years, the company’s strong standing and clear potential to be at the forefront of the MENA edtech scene.”

As students and instructors were made to go full online during the COVID-19 pandemic, Edunation saw an amazing 1,200% development in clients, a noteworthy development to which the organization reacted by embracing new advances to maintain the platform’s exhibition, and arranging itself for a better expanding opportunity in the region.
